AI safety, made for the rest of us

The AI safety conversationmade for women

A multi-platform brand making AI safety, risks and regulation accessible to non-technical women in the UK.

Our mission

We all deserve to understand AI's risks and its impact on our lives.

Hosted by Grace Reuben

Through a podcast, social content and live events in London, The AI Girls Club helps women who feel they are not "techy enough" to join one of the most important conversations of our time.

Life-changing things are happening right now, and beyond the headlines about job losses and deepfakes, many of us were never given an easy way in. We are here to change that, in plain English, with no jargon and no gatekeeping.

We are pro-AI with guardrails, not anti-AI. The most powerful technology ever built should not move forward without the public understanding it, and that public includes us. You do not need a tech background, a degree or any prior knowledge. The more of us who understand it, the better the future we can help shape.

Help us keep going

Until now we have raised money one event at a time, asking only for what that particular event needed. Everything in between has come out of my own pocket: the kit, the filming, the editing, and the hours of research behind every post.

The AI Girls Club has gained far more interest than I expected, and I want to keep scaling this platform to have as big an impact as possible. That means more events, better production, bigger community and more research that makes this platform worth trusting in the first place.

01

Events

Venues, speakers, refreshments and photography. Funding events properly keeps tickets low cost, so the women who most need to be in the room can get into it.

02

Production

Cameras, microphones, lighting and editing. Better kit is the difference between reaching a few hundred women and reaching a few hundred thousand.

03

Public pressure

Regulation moves when enough people demand it. Bringing women who were never invited into this conversation is how that pressure gets built, and it is the part of AI safety almost nobody is funding.

If any of it has been useful to you, I would be so grateful if you gave whatever you can. It goes straight into keeping women informed about the risks of AI, and into building a community loud enough that we cannot be ignored.
